This is home. Due to my parents wisdom, divine guidance, and incredible timing, this is where I live today. It has been an interesting journey. Learning about mowing grass all over again....keeping up with landscaping....painting, sealing driveways, and all the other sundry loves that make a house a home. What an eyeopener!

I live in a subdivision called Garden Isles, which consists of a total of eighteen hundred homes. All the homes were built between 1958 and 1961, and are more solidly built than homes today. Seems that no one can afford to build homes today the way they ought to be built. Ninty percent of the homes in Garden Isles are fronting the extensive canal system here that links with the intracoastal waterway. Lots of sport fisherman and pleasure crafters inhabit the 'hood...And with about eight miles of excellent residential asphalt, this is skating heaven...I can imagine no better life than the one I am graced to lead today. God has been so faithful...
